Wrong timestamp

I'm having problems with timestamps regardless of where I send email from (webmail, telnet to smtp) either from the server itself or remotely. The timezone I'm in is GMT +3. I'm running MS5.2P1 on Solaris 8. The system time is correct :

[root@420R msg5.2]$ date
Wed Oct 29 13:14:54 GMT 2003
[root@420R msg5.2]$ echo $TZ
GMT+3

Below is an e-mail header retrieved from Messenger Express:

Received from ourdomain.com (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by 420R.ourdomain.com (iPlanet Messaging Server 5.2 Patch 1 (built Aug 19 2002)) with ESMTP id <0HNI00006YHTD0@420R.ourdomain.com> for test1@ims-ms-daemon (ORCPT test1@ourdomain.com); Wed, 29 Oct 2003 12:17:53 -0300 (GMT)

Received from [192.168.0.101] by 420R.ourdomain.com (mshttpd); Wed, 29 Oct 2003 18:17:53 +0300

I've found posts by people with similiar problems, but no apparent resolution. Any help would be appreciated.
