Having created some custom control, I wanted to put them in a grid pane (left aligned), however they are all centered.

My investigation shows that this comes from the Group element within the Skin. The group is the top most control within the skin. During laying the controls out they get layoutX/layoutX set.
While it would be possible the circumvent this, I'm more interested in the proper way. How do I have to set up the controls, so the react as expected to layout constraints like left or top?
