Writing voice activated Application for a PDA hand-held palm

843802Jul 17 2002 — edited Jul 19 2002
Any ideas I want to write an application that is voice activated i.e. to create an application that use regular voice communication for a hand-held Palm means if you just speak and the application will do the processing accordingly and save the required data. Lets say if you have an application for Palm that records the todo list for next two days. The user manually enters the data on the Palm (PDA) now is there a way that instead of manual entry user speaks and it do the same task as manually doing. Any good books to look into any ideas. Just like in Sprint Phone you say the name it dials the number. But I want to store the words the user speaks or says. Any tips I know it will be good learning experience atleast but need you help.
Thanks for any ideas and tips for starting it.
