write performance on RAID-DP vs RAID 10

Hi,

We have this NetApp SAN storage which is configured with RAID-DP. We going to use this storage to store data of an Oracle 11g database(11.2.0.2) with mostly inserts statements. I have gone through few articles about RAID-DP and what i understand is (correct me if im wrong) its RAID 6 derivative from RAID 5 which is good for reading than writes. Can anybody tell me write performance on RAID-DP compared to RAID 10 as my database mostly involved with inserts statements? Many thanks in advance.
