SQL & PL/SQL

Hi,
I cross with memory problem. I have table with 750 000 000 record in it. It has one field. I tried to query it on TOAD and then save the result as file.
First i tested for 1000000 record. I got result in 5 minute and I saved result as .dat file.
SELECT * FROM TABLE WHERE rownum < 1000000

But then I tried
SELECT * FROM TABLE

I wanted to get resul on TOAD grid and then save as fiile. But I got out of memory error from TOAD. I think it is wrong way.

So I want to write data from table to file.
AS
Filename.(dat,txt)
6081796|20/08/2009 00:00:00|13181
6081796|20/08/2009 00:00:00|13181
6081796|20/08/2009 00:00:00|13181
6081796|20/08/2009 00:00:00|13181

How can I do this?
I really need your help.
