WRAP utility. Why not installed?
422978Jun 8 2004 — edited Jun 8 2004 We recently upgraded from 8i to 9i (for Win2K) and our full administrator level client software does not include the wrap.exe utility. I found a machine running 9i that has wrap.exe on it and dropped it in my oracle bin directory and then it complains about not having orapls9.dll (which is true). So I returned to the other machine and snatch orapls9.dll and drop that in my oracle bin directory and then it complains
"The procedure entry point puisun_SetUserSchemaName could not be located int he dynamic link library orapls9.dll"
I'm sure that attempting to drop bits from one installation into another is not healthy so I'm not surprised that it doesn't work. But WHY is it not getting installed with the 9i installation .jar file? Where can I find a proper installer for it? Do I have to have the full DB installer to get it? I should hope not and did not require it when using the 8i version.
The version from 8i does not work with 9i.
Help would be much appreciated.
