With the introduction of OneDrive in the our organization we just found out that SQLDeveloper can only ready files from drive letters and not from OneDrive (unless is mapped as a drive letter).
Because our infra. team has confirmed they wont map OneDrive as a letter, a workaround would be to have a shortcut to access the files in OneDrive, but shortcuts are read as files not as a pointer.
In our case this is specific to Windows, I don't know if in other OS the symlinks are handled properly in SQLDeveloper.
