world writable files after install

There are many world writable files in the $MIDDLEWARE_HOME directory after installation of HPCM/Essbase. Most look like they are font files and I'm not too worried about those. The other files I'm more concerned about (OHS, jar, .so., .ini) It is needed for these to have 777 permissions on Linux? Our security scan shows red because of these files. Any insight is appreciated.
