I have seen posts on the old forum that Ignite works against Cerner Community Works, but we have a client that says this is incorrect. What assurances can I give to this client that the API will work. Keona is part of the CODE program and we have a number of clients live with the Ignite product, but they are on full Millenium. I posted this on the uCern boards but have not gotten a response, so I am cross posting here.
Here is what they said:
We have had many vendors say, “Oh yes, we work with Cerner and their Ignite /API” only to find that they are *not* approved for Cerner Community Works.
We need something—in writing—from Cerner Community works, saying that Keona is an approved API vendor. Our understanding is that you must get individual approval to use the Cerner API with the CW product.
