Workflow is not sending notification

Hi,

I need to send workflow notification through mail,

To achive this I have created adhoc role and data present in wf_local_roles as well wf_roles tables.

Still I'm not able to receive the notification mail.

Please let me know what are the other steps I need to follow apart from creating adhoc role.
