Workflow approvals and notificaitons

Hi,

I want to start with a new workflow which sends notifications to the employees based on the conditions. If one employees approves, it should goto the next employees liike a chain process and if anyone of them rejects, it should come back to the sender. I just want to start with this so that i can add more functionality to this flow. I am unable to figure out where to start with.

It would be great if someone can advice me on this. Any code would be really great!!!
