WIP Picking Tasks Not Splitting Even After Equipment Capacity Setup in OPM WMS (R12.2)

Hi Experts,

We are facing an issue where WIP picking tasks are not getting split in our Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) organization, even though all equipment and resource setups have been completed.

Below are the steps we followed:

  1. Created an Equipment Item and defined Maximum Load Capacity (Weight).
  2. For the Pick Item, we defined Primary UOM and Unit Weight correctly.
  3. Created a Person Resource and attached both the Person Resource and the Equipment Resource to a WMS Department.
  4. Created a Standard Task Type and added it to User-Defined Task Type Attributes.
  5. Created a Task Type Assignment Rule for the defined task type.
  6. During WIP picking for an OPM batch, even though the total quantity exceeds the equipment’s defined capacity, the task is not splitting into multiple tasks.

Could anyone please suggest what additional setups or configurations are required to make task splitting based on equipment capacity work in OPM WMS picking?

We are on Oracle EBS R12.2.
