Windows Defender finds malicious software
843798Nov 26 2006 — edited Nov 27 2006Windows Defender finds malicious software in IE 7. I installed the new update, when Windows Defender ran the scheduled scan it found several problems rated severe.
Defender wants to delete them, I have not been to site where I might pick up such dangerous elements. They are :-
Java/OpenConnection.Q
Java/OpenConnection.P
Java/Openstream.C
Exploit:Win32/Wmfap
Are these a legitimate part of Java or should I delete them. I have quarantined them in the meantime.
Thanks
