Windows 7 and Supported oracle versions ?

IndianDBASep 19 2010 — edited Sep 19 2010
Hi

What are all the oracle Client versions can be installed on Windows 7. As my Database Servers are on 8i, 9i and 10g(10g is 10.2.0.1.0 and 10.2.0.4.0).

It required for me because my organization is planning to migrate Client machines (oracle Client version) to windows 7 from windows 2000 & windows 2003.

Currently we are using 32 bit oracle versions on 32 bit windows machines but now these machines would be migrated to windows 7 with 64 bit.

Could you help me to understand the below,

Is it possible to install oracle 8i, 9i, 10g (10g is 10.2.0.1.0 and 10.2.0.4.0) with 32 bit on windows 7 with 64 bit, is it recommended & supported?

Or could you help me how to go ahead after windows 7 migrate on Client machines (not Server machines).
