Hi Experts,
I installed Obie 10g on Win 2008, and also on 2003 server on vmware, after successful installation and restart.........Oracle BI Presentation Server won't start automatically..........and I looked into event log and it shows an error and its description is below -
The description for Event ID 21 from source Oracle BI Utility cannot be >found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your >local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the >component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to >be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
The specified service does not exist as an installed service.
the message resource is present but the message is not found in the >string/message table
If i start the presentation server manually it works fine.........but BI server and Java Host services start automatically........OC4J starts automatically........
Please provide your suggestions to solve this.
