Wich ORACLE 11gR2 edition can i install when i bought a SE2 edition?

Hello,

We have bought a Oracle Standard Edition 2 recently.

I would like to know (because our software editor didnt know if 12c is compatible with the app) if i should install Oracle 11g Standard Edition or Standard Edition One to be license compliant?
