Wi-Fi not working in Oracle Linux 6

NitishKumar1989Mar 5 2014 — edited Mar 5 2014

Hi,

I have installed Oracle Linux 6 (X86_64) on my system. My system is Dell Inspiron 1564 and it is 32 bit. While installation I choosed Oracle Linux Server and UEK as another option. Operating system got installed properly but wi-fi is not working. While starting OS with UEK kernel, I am getting a message in NetworkManager applet that Device is not ready: firmware missing. Generally in my other system, this NetworkManager applet shows all available wi-fi connections.

On executing ipconfig, output doesnt have eth0 series.

Thanks

Nitish Kumar
