Oracle Forms

Hello forum
im new in oracle forms and have some confusion about using oracle forms as the web application. can anybody pls tell me why to use oracle forms instead of many web technologies like asp, C#, php, Jsp? as forms are heavy and takes much time to load then why should i use it?

can i use oracle forms applications as the public web applications where anyone can use that application? but considering this matter ive another confusion! will all the users need to install OC4J for running oracle forms? if they have to do so then its gonna be a very big hassle for users.

in fact, i want to know the basic concept of using oracle forms...
