I'm running my application on Oracle 11.2.0.
Occasionally, it automatically shuts itself down and restarts for some unknown reasons.
Extracts from alert log file:

Shutting down instance (immediate)
Stopping background process SMCO
Shutting down instance: further logons disabled
...
.... content deleted.....
Instance shutdown complete
Starting ORACLE instance (restrict) / Starting ORACLE instance (normal).

Anyone has any ideas?
