Why in Oracle Fusion General ledger we have two hierarchies Baseline and Current in Essbase?

Hi,

I am new in Oracle Fusion General Ledger and want to know about the hierarchies we have in Essbase.

We are using Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio for reporting and we always use Current hierarchy.

Please guide what is the difference between Baseline and Current hierarchy? and which one is the main hierarchy?.As these both hierarchies are alternate or custom hierarchies I guess.
