WHY DOESN'T YOUR STUFF WORK?

As soon as I download something like Flashplayer onto my Microsoft based computer -- all kinds of problems begin. As soon as I erase all of the Sun Java script -- the problems go away. There are whole web-sites devoted to the problems of Java's incompatability with Microsoft. I can't imagine its accidental. Why do you do this?
