Why does The Grid Control freeze on session blocking?!

hi,
We're now in a testing period, so we have a lot of bad queries that cause session deadlock on the database.
My question is why everytime there is dead lock on the db, the Oracle Grid control Freeze, so i'm unable to use the grid control to view the session blocking and to kill these sessions.
--oracle version is 10.2.0.3.0
