Why do i get RMAN-06025 (no backup of log) even using full backup?

Hi all,

RDBMS....: 9.2.0.8

SO...........: Solaris 9

I am trying to restore a database from one server to a more powerful one. I have a full backup od the database + backup of recent archives, but in the recover procedure (in the new server), i get the following:

ORA-01547: warning: RECOVER succeeded but OPEN RESETLOGS would get error below

ORA-01152: file 1 was not restored from a sufficiently old backup

ORA-01110: data file 1: '/myhome/system01.dbf'

RMAN-00571: ===========================================================

RMAN-00569: =============== ERROR MESSAGE STACK FOLLOWS ===============

RMAN-00571: ===========================================================

RMAN-03002: failure of recover command at 05/14/2014 15:10:53

RMAN-06053: unable to perform media recovery because of missing log

RMAN-06025: no backup of log thread 1 seq 97602 scn 88174553301 found to restore

RMAN-06025: no backup of log thread 1 seq 97601 scn 88174454189 found to restore

RMAN-06025: no backup of log thread 1 seq 97600 scn 88174315650 found to restore

RMAN-06025: no backup of log thread 1 seq 97599 scn 88174189139 found to restore

RMAN-06025: no backup of log thread 1 seq 97598 scn 88174111930 found to restore

RMAN-06025: no backup of log thread 1 seq 97597 scn 88173979085 found to restore

RMAN-06025: no backup of log thread 1 seq 97596 scn 88173917034 found to restore

[...]

OBS1: The paths where the backups are, are the same in both servers.

I've checked V$ARCHIVE_LOG and i saw that until sequence 97602, i don't have the backup of the archives, but starting on sequence 97603, i do have the backups, so, why my recover procedure gives me this error?

As you can see, i have a gap in the backed up archives:

SQL> select sequence#,archived,deleted,backup_count, status

from v$archived_log

where backup_count >= 1

order by sequence# desc;  2    3    4

SEQUENCE# ARC DEL BACKUP_COUNT S

--------------------- ------- ------ -------------------------- ---

            97603  YES YES                        1 D

            93901  YES YES                        1 D

... but i have the full backups plus recent archives.

What am i missing?

Thanks for the attention and patience.
