Why can't I connect to ODI Repository on Oracle VM Environment

Hello I am using Oracle VM environment, and am testing ODI 12c. I am not able to connect to the Work Repository. Please find the error message I am getting, as defined below. All repository configurations were done by Oracle. Once I launch ODI Studio this is the message I am receiving. I cannot connect via Topology either. PLEASE help! Thanks for the help in advance.
