Why can I only access apex using http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex and not my IP?
I am new to Oracle and have recently downloaded 10g Express edition and Application Express 3.2
I have the 2 Day+ Application Express Guide and i am trying to deploy the hr database the guide teaches you. So far i have had no problems with Oracle and found most things straight forward however when i try to access the new database on the network it comes up with "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" i use the following URL http://192.168.0.201:8080/apex/f?p=105:1
192.168.0.1 is my ip static ip address on my network if i try http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex/f?p=105:1 on my pc it works but http://192.168.0.201:8080/apex/f?p=105:1 dows not work from my pc or any pc on the network. i am using Windows XP http://192.168.0.201:8080/apex/ and http://192.168.0.201:8080/apex/apex_admin don't work either but if i use 127.0.0.1 all works but only locally.
Any help would be appreciated
