Parts sync is one of the step mentioned in the guide in order to perform managed package installation of salesforce. By default salesforce will be the items master. What will be the impact of performing parts sync steps ,if in CPQ we already have a list of parts present. Is it going to delete the older parts present or the older parts will be there and some additional parts of salesforce will appear in the parts list page ? Also, performing parts sync a necessary step while implementing managed package implementation ?
