Which version of Tomcat should I choose?

My laptop is Linux, the browser is fedora. I installed jdk1.6.0, and eclipse-SDK-3.4-linux, and now i want to install Tomcat for servlet, but I don't know which version is suitable and still don't know how to install it.
I have searched in google, but the webs of how to install were out of data.
