Is there a version of Oracle's Linux that can be installed that comes with their latest Database Express Edition as part of the operating system install itself? If there is no version of Oracle's Linux OS that get's installed with the OS itself then I have a follow-up question.
Does anybody recommend installing their Database XE on a flavor of Linux that is "not" Oracle's version? It seems like a no-brainer to run Oracle's Database XE on their official OS for maximum compatibility. But maybe there's more to consider.
If so, could somebody provide what they feel might be a better flavor of Linux to run their Database XE on and what those reasons could be?
Thank You!
