Hi guys,

I am trying to implement a ZFS NAS in a AD environment. I have read some guides include the Solaris 11 doc. Later I found that there are two separated smb/samba packages in the category:
Line: -----
Name: service/network/samba
Summary: samba - A Windows SMB/CIFS fileserver for UNIX
Category: System/File System
State: Not installed
Publisher: solaris
Version: 3.5.10
Build Release: 5.11
Branch: 0.175.0.0.0.2.537
Packaging Date: October 19, 2011 11:47:41 AM
Size: 154.57 MB
FMRI: pkg://solaris/service/network/samba@3.5.10,5.11-0.175.0.0.0.2.537:20111019T114741Z
root@sol11:~# pkg info -r smb
Line: -----
Name: service/file-system/smb
Summary: SMB/CIFS server
Description: SMB/CIFS server libraries and commands
Category: System/File System
State: Installed
Publisher: solaris
Version: 0.5.11
Build Release: 5.11
Branch: 0.175.0.0.0.2.1
Packaging Date: October 19, 2011 06:24:56 AM
Size: 1.43 MB
FMRI: pkg://solaris/service/file-system/smb@0.5.11,5.11-0.175.0.0.0.2.1:20111019T062456Z
Line: -----
As you can see, the sizes are very different while they are both smb/CIFS servers according to the summary.

Any one can clarify the relationship between them??

Regards,
Derrick
