Which ORDS version needs which Java version

User_IO0OINov 8 2022

Hi,
I would like to deploy ORDS into the Weblogic-Server bundled with Enterprise Manager 13c. Trying to deploy the most current ORDS version (22.3) into this Weblogic-Server, I get an error message that some class cannot be deployed since the class has been compiled using Java 1.15.
So my question now is, which ORDS version can be deployed into the bundled Weblogic-Server.
Further research rusulted in the following facts:
Weblogic-Server Version: 12.2.1.4.0, using Java version 1.8.0.126, updateable to Java version 1.8.0.351 (Doc ID 2776765.1).
ORDS 22.1.0 needs Java 11 or Java 17; ORDS 20.4.1 needs Java 8 or better (Google search for "ORDS Java Version" resulting in the release notes of the aforementioned ORDS versions).
My question now is: Is there a table somewhere where the existing ORDS versions are listed together with their required Java versions? It is difficult to find even just a list of available ORDS versions, and even more difficult to find their release notes from the ORDS download pages.
I will try to deploy the last ORDS version before 22.1.0, and if that does not work, I will revert to 20.4.1.
