Which one is better approach of using BMT vs CMT?

Hi All,

Which one is better approach of using Bean Managed Transaction(BMT) or Container Managed Transactions(CMT) in distributed applications?

If I want to maintain the transaction status between the different ejb's definitely I will select CMT transactions.

For instance in my application if I have two ear's can transaction status propagate between the ejb in first ear
and the ejb in second ear?

Can transaction status propagate between two ear's?

Please help me
