which JDBC driver version to use

Hi, when I go to download the Oracle JDBC drivers, I find that there are 15 or so different drivers to choose from. I am trying to connect with the thin driver from JDK1.2 to Oracle8i 8.1.6.3.

But there is no driver for 8.1.6.3, only 8.1.6.2 or 8.1.7. Which should I use? Or should I use the latest (9.0.1) driver?

What if I was connecting to two different-version Oracles from my Java program? Which driver would I use then?
