Which Java Runtime Enviroment to download
807598Sep 27 2006 — edited Sep 27 2006When one goes to the default or standard SunMicro page the free download for jre is version 5.0 Update 6.My question is there have been later versions of version 5.0 namely Update 7 and 8 which are available for download from sunmicro page if one searches for them so why is an earlier version namely 5.0 update 6 still being listed as the default download??
