Which is more faster - IN or EXISTS?

KPRMar 22 2011 — edited Mar 22 2011
Hi,

I have a small doubt...Please advise me..!!

Exist is more faster than IN because IN doesn't use indexes at the time of fetching but Exist uses Index at the time of fetching.

My question is .. if there is no index on the table..then exists what will do? that time which is faster IN or Exists?

cheers
