Where to set $PATH and $LD_LIBRARY_PATH on solaris

Hi,

I am trying to set $PATH and $LD_LIBRARY_PATH on solaris 10 sparc -- where to set them so that they are available to all login sessions and also what exactly should be included in standard $PATH and $LD_LIBRARY_PATH, my system only seem to have /usr/bin and /usr/sbin in $PATH variable.

Detailed path information would be very useful. Thanking in advance.
