where to find the host,port and sid for a DB in oracle 11g?

Hi,

I am a newbie DBA. just now i got one task for creating user in pre prod DBs. the user requested creating username and granting the required roles and asked to provide the TNS entries also.

i have created the user and granted the required roles. Now my confusion is to provide the TNS entries. wether shud i provide from listener.ora or tnsnames.ora?
