Where is Java DB on Mac OS X?

843859Nov 14 2008 — edited Nov 20 2014
I understand Java DB is now included in JDK 6 and the jars are stored in a subdirectory off JAVA_HOME called db.

I can't find the db directory on Mac OS X. According to Netbeans my Java home is: /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6/Home.

I have looked in and around this directory but I can't find any db subdirectory. I've also done a full search for derby.jar with no result.

Any help would be appreciated.

Mac OS X 10.5.5
Java Version 1.6.0_07
