Where does the archive file go?

Hello Friends,

I am trying to archive a essbase database... I am able to archive it and then restore it..

But i have a couple of questions around this...

If somebody could please help me in getting the answers to my questions, i would be obliged..

1. Where does the archive file reside in the file system ?
2. Can i use a hard coded path like "C:\app.arc" to archive the database at a particular location..?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
