Where can I download a version of SQL-Developer to work with Java7 ?

Hello,

As I am preparing a PC to work with Forms11g which is not supported with Java8, where can I find SQL-Developer to work with Java 1.7?

The only downloads available say they need Java8 and higher?

I cannot install Java8, because I have some issues (bugs and crashes) with Forms11 (11.1.2.2) and I want to make sure JDK8 is not getting in the way.

It really is becoming annoying when Oracle encourages to install and use Java 8, removes software that works with Java7 yet Forms11g is the latest version and only works with Java 7.

I am also still on Windows7 32-bit machines and will stay on those for at least 5-10 years until my managers finally decide to move forward.

I am trying to follow this documentation:

http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E39885_01/doc.40/e38928/install.htm#RPTIG121

This section talks about JDK7:

3. On the Oracle Technology Network page for SQL Developer at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/sql-developer/Opens a new window, click the Downloads tab (next to Overview).

But then the link takes me to the page where again only JDK8 is required.

Thanks for helping.

Ryszard
