Apparently, APEX does not have the ability to export to Excel out of the box. I think this is way overdue.
You can download to CSV, but that of course will lose any formatting.
There are some third party plugins, but are either not adequate or or not free options.
We are probably not going to use APEX for an application due to the fact that customer requires this functionality, especially from interactive grids/reports.
Maybe we can also insert an Excel Template.
Any ideas or replies from the Devs will be appreciated.
