What the hell is SIGBUS????

My program quits 1 time out of 2 due to SIGNAL 10 or 11 ( SIGBUS and SIGSEGV ) What the hell are these?? How can I fix them? ( I have Mac OS X 10.3 and use XCode 1.0 )
