What's the difference between JDK 32-bit and JDK 64-bit.

Well, the subject pretty much says it all. I'm wondering which of these kits it would be best to use for my new computer. It comes equipped with Windows Vista, so my intuition says I should go for the 64-bit JDK, but after a quick look through the documentation I couldn't seem to find any information on any differences or restrictions on what kit was usable on what OSes... I hope someone can tell me if there is any actual difference between the two :)
