What's different beetwen Statspack and AWR?

Hello there:

What's different beetwen Statspack and AWR? It looks same to me but I am trying to understand that do we have to use both in 10g or we can just use AWR. Is AWR replacing the statspack or it's added feature to the Oracle 10g.
