what is xml serialize and xml sequence and xmlquery

Hi Friends

I am new to the Oracle xml Db,My question is

1)what is XMLSERIALIZE ,XMLSEQUENCE and XMLQUERY in Oracle xml db, and what is the purpose and In which situation use this.?

Please give some useful url link for the Oracle xml db.
