what is uniform

hello,

in the following command,what is "uniform size"?

CREATE TABLESPACE userdata
DATAFILE '/u01/oradata/userdata01.dbf' SIZE 500M
EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL UNIFORM SIZE 128K;

I cann't find the answer in the oracle online documents.
who can explain it for me,
