what is TNS V1-V3?

When I run select program from v$session, I get one of the return values as ? @ABT2561 (TNS V1-V3)

What is (? @ABB2021 (TNS V1-V3) ).

ABT2561 is my Oracle server name.

Any thought on TNS V1-V3

Oracle 10g R2 on HPUX 64 bit
