My organization is scheduled to implement Hyperion Planning in November. I have been studying several books on the subject and have made good progress. However, they dont provide and I cant create a full ERP lab environment and can therefore not effectively cover actual PSPB administration topics. For this reason, I feel like some Oracle U training called "Hyperion Planning PSPB Creating and Managing Applications 11.1.2" would both help the implementation be very valuable in preparing me for future administrative duties. Unfortunately, the training is quite expensive, about $3300 per 5 day class. Our consultants also say they will train us but I have my doubts about the depth of the proposed training. Now that I've shared my bias, is there anyone out there who has completed an implementation of Hyperion Public Sector Planning and Budgeting 11.1.2 that would be willing to provide me their opinion as to whether or not not pre-implemenation training is worth the cost?
