What is the suitable certifcate to use with OID (Oracle internet Directory)

Hello Every One!
I am trying to use LDAP over SSL with OID, but I am wondring if any kind of certificates can do the job, I mean for exemple Test certificates from "Verisgn". Is there any conditions on the certificate?
