What is the meaning of setting Source Cube property for any member in PBCS?

Hello Experts,

Just wanted to know what is the meaning of setting Source Cube property value for any random member in PBCS>

We have 3 cubes and in the drop down of Source Cube property, I am seeing these 3 cubes.

Kindly assist.
