What is the meaning of record in WMSYS.WM$NEXTVER_TABLE with split=1 ?

Hi all,

I got problem when I try to removeworkspace on my test system for workspace manager.
It's got full tablescan for table wm$nextver_table and take very long time and seem not finish.

I tested create workspace 9 level on this system look like this below.
WORKSPACE PARENT
1 LIVE
2 TEST_WS LIVE
3 TEST_WS1 LIVE
4 WORK_2 WORK_1
5 WORK_1 LIVE
6 WORK_9 WORK_8
7 WORK_8 WORK_7
8 WORK_7 WORK_6
9 WORK_6 WORK_5
10 WORK_5 WORK_4
11 WORK_4 WORK_3
12 WORK_3 WORK_2

One thing I saw is the table WMSYS.WM$NEXTVER_TABLE is very huge (about 1.8 GB with 2 indexes 2 GB each)

I try select from WMSYS.WM$NEXTVER_TABLE many rows are split =1

Do Anyone know what does this mean ? seem this make table so huge. How can this fix?
